You can’t miss Lowis, with his next-level size and length paired with a skill set that continues to grow. After struggling on Friday and Saturday, he bounced back Sunday with a strong performance that looked much more like himself. Carter got hot from deep, knocking down a number of threes and providing a big offensive lift for his squad. He looked comfortable on the perimeter and in space, showing no hesitation as both a shooter and decision-maker. On the defensive end, his movement looked solid as well — he protected the rim and moved his feet effectively in a variety of situations.

Carter showcased his versatile game at 6’10 on Sunday. He had a big size advantage over his matchup, and went to work on his first post touch. Lowis showed flashes of impressive footwork with his back to the basket, and his shooting touch makes him a threat to score out of the block or from three. Throughout the game he was active setting screens and beating his man up the floor in transition. Moves well at his size in the open floor. If he continues to put in work in the weight room to add explosiveness, he could develop into a dangerous player.

Carter immediately catches your eye as he stands at a staggering 6’10, but his shooting touch is what sets him apart from other bigs. All weekend long Carter had success popping out to the perimeter, and knocking down threes off the catch at a high percentage. Wasn’t a big back-to-the-basket threat in the games I watched, but showed good mobility at his size which helped him slide into position to alter/block shots around the rim, or slide his feet to hedge screens out on the perimeter. Really intriguing prospect with his combination of size, mobility, and shooting touch.
