Ryan has been covering high school basketball in Minnesota for 20 years. As a major contributor covering Gopher basketball, high school basketball for Breakdown Sports and Northstar Hoops on the Prep Hoops Network, Ryan has been the leading resource for hoops recruiting throughout the state, and now nationally. For Prep Hoops Minnesota (formerly Ryan has been covering high school basketball in Minnesota for 20 years. As a major contributor covering Gopher basketball, high school basketball for Breakdown Sports and Northstar Hoops on the Prep Hoops Network, Ryan has been the leading resource for hoops recruiting throughout the state, and now nationally. For Prep Hoops Minnesota (formerly Northstar Hoops Report), Ryan is first and foremost the expert on team rankings, prospect rankings, as well as recruiting updates. He also contributes regular editorials covering all aspects of Minnesota high school basketball. Lastly, Ryan has an extensive coaching career throughout the Twin Cities, with stops at Minnetonka, Henry Sibley, Tartan, and Simley. He has also worked with the Junior Wolves program, was a manager at the University of Minnesota under Clem Haskins, and was an all-conference/all-area performer at Austin High School. Ryan is also the events coordinator for the Prep Hoops Circuit and the Prep Hoops Next Circuit. He is the father of four (Emma 16, Olivia 12, Clara 9, and Jackson 5) and was a special education teacher for 14 years.

Max remembers becoming obsessed with high school basketball and recruiting in middle school watching the likes of Diamond Stone, Kevon Looney, and Sam Dekker dominate the state of Wisconsin. Originally from Racine, WI and now in the Twin Cities as a student at the University of Minnesota, Max follows the high school hoops scene in both states, with Max remembers becoming obsessed with high school basketball and recruiting in middle school watching the likes of Diamond Stone, Kevon Looney, and Sam Dekker dominate the state of Wisconsin. Originally from Racine, WI and now in the Twin Cities as a student at the University of Minnesota, Max follows the high school hoops scene in both states, with a passion for discovering hidden talents. Max created Fresh Coast Hoops last year as a freshman in college looking to get involved in the high school basketball community in Minnesota. He started the Fresh Coast Hoops YouTube channel as a way to provide exposure to colleges for athletes who otherwise wouldn't have highlight tapes, as well as a way to share the performances of some of the best players Minnesota has to offer. He now brings his dedication to high school basketball to the Prep Hoops team, covering both the Twin Cities and the state of Wisconsin.
