Tyrece caught fire in a semi-finals win for Minnesota Select . He’s one of those players who can change the course of a game in a matter of minutes, and his hot shooting helped Select pull away in the first half against Elevate Skills. He’s such a gifted shot creator who only needs a couple of dribbles to create a yard of space to get off a jumper. Tyrece does a nice job of utilizing shot fakes to get defenders in the air before attacking to make plays at the rim. Within the first few minutes of the game he got to the rim for two scores while draining a pair of threes, setting the tone for the rest of the game.

He is so dynamic with the ball in his hands, being able to score from all three levels in a variety of ways. On Saturday, he was great pulling up off the dribble from the perimeter, not needing much space to get a shot off. Hagler is also a very crafty finisher around the basket, displaying great touch and body control.

Tyrece is one of the top scorers in this class and it was fun to watch him go to work this weekend with the ball in his hands. He plays with great pace and never looks sped up by defenders. He was exceptional at getting downhill, then being able to get to a variety of different touch finishes with either hand. Hagler is also a knockdown shooter from deep and needs a hand at all times.
