Kolby helped lead the Lakers to a pair of wins over Orono and Hopkins, scoring and facilitating at a high level across both games. His change of speed and utilization of shot/pass fakes makes him so unpredicatble on the ball, as Kolby was running circles around defenders at times to create good looks for his team. His deep range forces you to come over the top of screens on him, but he also showed the ability to get downhill into the lane and kick it out to an open man. Mixed in some deep threes, strong finishes through contact, and an impressive number of assists in the two wins.

If fall league is any indication, Keion is going to be an instant impact player for Minnetonka. He was their biggest scoring threat in the game I watched, hitting a number of tough shots against Richfield. Keion has deep range from beyond the arc, and did a great job of not getting sped up on the ball when the defense looked to pressure him with length. You wouldn't be able to guess that Keion is only a freshman based on the poise and composure he shows on the ball. Fearless attacking the basket and finishing in traffic as well.

Alex came out hot against Prior Lake in the opening game of the day. He drained threes on each of Orono's first two possessions of the game, with the second coming from the volleyball line. After hitting 73 threes for Orono last season it's clear what his specialty is, and despite the defense catching on, he still managed to find pockets of space to catch and shoot out on the perimeter. Nice looking 3&D type of player who can light it up from deep and competes with intensity on the defensive end. Orono will once again have the talent to compete with just about anyone this winter.

Paris is another freshman who put in some standout performances on Sunday at Hopkins. Offensively there wasn't much he wasn't doing, as he beat defenders off the dribble to finish inside, connected on a few threes, and got out for some transition dunks. He has such a long and lanky frame, and with how hard Park Center looked to pressure the ball, that length was causing issues for opposing guards. After a strong start to his career as an 8th grader, Paris looks ready to take that next step forward as a freshman. It might take them another year or two to really hit their full potential, but this Park Center group has a lot of exciting young talents coming up.

With [player_tooltip player_id='2412724' first='Dre' last='Collins'] not suited up on Sunday, Tyrece really stepped up to fill in for some of that lost production in an entertaining game against Minnetonka. He's one of those guys who can have a quiet stretch of 5-10 minutes, and then out of nowhere hit a handful of threes in a 1-2 minute stretch to completely change the game. He got hot in the second half and was starting to hit some tough pull-up jumpers with a hand right in his face. He also impressed with a steal leading to a transition dunk to cap off a big game.

Even when his shot isn't falling, Kwa just finds ways to make plays. In the game against Prior Lake I watched, Kwa was all over the floor defensively. He's one of the quickest guards in the state, and it shows with how well he moves laterally to pressure opposing guards on the ball. He can sit deep in a stance out on an island, and showed quick hands to come up with a number of steals throughout the game. During the second half he came up with some big plays on the offensive end to bring his team back and give them a chance to win on the final possession. Kwa has been very impressive in fall league action with Hopkins this past month.
