We will have to see how Kwat and Tre work together but in this game against CP – when Tre wasn’t playing as he is the football quarterback – Kwat was in full control seemingly at all times. The choices made to push against slow and move the ball, they were excellent. His leads to cutters and posts were on the money, his transition push was outstanding and Kwat scored often for his team. The jumper and transition baskets were the regulars in the box scorer for this game for him. Kwat used ball screens to force switches in the perfect way and every time he had a big on him, Kwat seemed to put the Rebels in a bad place.

Even when his shot isn’t falling, Kwa just finds ways to make plays. In the game against Prior Lake I watched, Kwa was all over the floor defensively. He’s one of the quickest guards in the state, and it shows with how well he moves laterally to pressure opposing guards on the ball. He can sit deep in a stance out on an island, and showed quick hands to come up with a number of steals throughout the game. During the second half he came up with some big plays on the offensive end to bring his team back and give them a chance to win on the final possession. Kwa has been very impressive in fall league action with Hopkins this past month.

Kwatamah Silikpoh Kwatamah Silikpoh 5'9" | PG Osseo | 2027 State MN is a five-foot-nine-inch 2027 point guard from Hopkins that showed the lead guard ability to get others going while still making perimeter jump shots. Silikpoh operated very well as the ball handler in the screen and roll situations making perfectly placed pocket passes. Defensively Silikpoh squares up opponents full-court moving laterally keeping his man in front and has quick hands along with his feet.

New Coach: James Ware. Ware has been one of the most successful coaches in Minnesota in recent years. Ware has always worked in the Hopkins school district and now he moves over from PC to take over the head coaching position from legend Ken Novak Jr.

Kwatamah scored 17 points a game for Osseo last year as his quick first step and rapid transition speed have been tough for many players to stop. Kwatamah was coached by Ware the second part of his sophomore year at Park Center and into that summer. The Ware style should allow Silikpoh to flourish.

Silikpoh shot 6 of 17 overall from the floor while grabbing 7 rebounds, dishing 5 assists and swiping 7 steals in Howard Pulley Hoops loss.
