Deon has picked up three Division 1 offers in the past couple weeks and it’s easy to see why, as he and D1 Minnesota dominated on Thursday. He was flying around, making plays all over the floor. He was locking up defensively and was scoring the ball at a high level. His jump shot continues to improve, knocking down on 5+ threes in two games. Wallace-Johnson will be one of the top guards in Minnesota this season, looking to lead DeLaSalle back to the state title game.

Deon is another guard on this D1 Minnesota roster that takes pride in their defense. The 6’3” out of DeLaSalle was picking up full court at times, giving opposing guards nowhere to go, forcing them into making mistakes and shutting down the offense. He can use his elite athleticism to protect the rim too as a point guard, picking up some huge blocks. Wallace-Johnson was scoring the ball in a variety of ways, using his athleticism and strength to finish inside through contact, or showing off his shooting ability that continues to improve.
