is a bit of a Swiss Army Knife for We Are United Prep. At 6’4 he can guard bigger than his size with his long frame, but showed no issues moving his feet with smaller guards when his team put out a lineup filled with size. Kamar continues to show improvements with his three point shot, but is still at his best when he’s getting to the rim as he’s so good at converting in traffic. Defensively he competed with intensity and you can tell he takes pride in his play on that end of the floor.

for a number of years. Thomas as an 8th grader showed potential as an attack guard with good athletic ability and by the time Thomas was ending his freshman year at DeLaSalle he was one of the toughest guards to keep out of the paint. This past state tournament Thomas was still consistently getting into the paint, scoring at the rim and making plays happen for The Islanders being one of their most important offensive players.

thrived in transition where he showed his combination of speed, size, and athleticism to go along with his insanely high motor to finish at the rim. Offensively he’s a gifted scorer that was really good getting downhill. Quick first step with long strides to get by his defender. Struggled a bit with his shot today, but looked pure and confident.
