When it comes to individual impact games Jaeden Udean Jaeden Udean 6'2" | SG DeLaSalle | 2027 State MN in St. Louis ranks with one of the most memorable of the summer. He made so many threes in front of a 247 analyst that he was immediately inserted into the national rankings top 250 off that electric performance.

And that was not the first time Udean has exploded with his shooting touch this summer. Gain Elite was a top three team in 17u this season in large part because Udean had so many explosive game changing performances.

Udean had a monster, monster shooting game in front of 247 Sports Analyst Eric Bossi and 24 hours later Udean was in the national rankings of 247 Sports Top 250.

Udean had a massive week in St. Louis scoring 118 points across four games making 45 percent of the three he took (I am guessing the total was about 19 of 40 if my math is correct which is pretty strong three point shooting numbers). Then in Dallas, Jaeden was named All Session Second team.

Jaeden Udean – Udean is a 2027 guard from DeLaSalle and Gain Elite 17U P32 and this weekend went big for 37 points for Gain Elite. Udean can make shots in large volumes very quickly from all over the court. Udean excels spotted up along the 3-pointer with deep range and is a strong pull-up shooter.

Jaeden is one of my favorite players in the state to watch when he gets it going. He had a couple games this weekend scoring around 30 points, catching fire from deep all weekend. I saw him hit on five three-pointers in about three minutes on Sunday, letting it fly with no hesitation from a few feet beyond the three-point line. Udean also continues to improve as a facilitator and scorer around the basket, making some nice assists and takes inside.

When Gain Elite played Real Phenom I’m pretty sure the Phenom guards knew they had to locate Jaeden quickly each possession, they just couldn’t, or they just didn’t. And the end result was a 30 point game for Jaeden making 11 of 20 attempts including six threes. Phenom was able to catch deep and quickly release, and when Phenom didn’t find him quickly in possessions Udean found quick strikes to the rim releasing to finish before the help found him. Udean also had a game on Thursday where he made six triples in one half and he scored 18 points in the loss to D1 Minnesota (four threes made).

There are some games where you can’t do much to stop Jaeden and his deep range. Leading Gain Elite to a 4-0 record on the weekend, the junior guard showcased his incredibly difficult shot making, pulling up from deep with a hand in his face from well beyond the three-point line. He was also working inside for some tough finishes, using his touch to convert over larger defenders. Udean is one of the most gifted scorers in the state and it was on full display this past weekend.
