Akeem was bringing the energy for his team all game, leading the charge in an upset win over Minnesota Fury . He is a quick, twitchy guard who can hurt you with his scoring and facilitating. He connected with some clutch shots down the stretch, showing a lot of confidence from the perimeter. He was also great at breaking the Fury press, being able to work around defenders and find open teammates to push the pace.

Akeem was one of the quickest players at Sunday’s event and was flying around the floor making plays. In the 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 sessions, he had no trouble blowing around defenders to make strong takes to the rim. He is a trustworthy ball handler and was making some impressive passes to teammates for scores. There was one play where he blew by a defender then converted at the rim with a quick left handed finish on the right side of the basket. Everett was one of the shortest players in the event, but more than made up for it with the effort he brought on both sides of the ball.

Akeem was all over the place on the defensive end making plays for his team. He was the smallest player on the floor, but wasn’t backing down from anyone. Everett constantly applied pressure to the ball and was causing havoc with his quickness to slide in off the ball as well. His pressure led to a handful of turnovers and some easy buckets for his team throughout the game.
