Malachi Hill Malachi Hill 6'0" | PG Totino-Grace | 2027 State MN – The 2027 Totino-Grace and D1 Minnesota 3SSB guard scored 21 points on 8 of 12 shooting in D1 Minnesota ‘s 55-52 defeat Friday against Upward Stars 3SSB. Hill showed an improved perimeter jump shot making three of four 3-pointers. Hill grabbed 5 rebounds while dishing out two assists. In the 2nd game of the day Friday Hill led D1 Minnesota again in scoring with 19 points versus K-Low Elite in a 50-45 defeat. Hill shot 8 of 14 from the floor while hitting three 3-pointers and grabbing 7 rebounds.

I love Malachi’s game, as he is so shifty and gives so much effort whenever he is on the floor. He is one of the top defenders in the state, causing so much disruption with his ball pressure and lateral quickness. He looked great pushing the pace in transition, making the correct decisions to score himself or find a teammate. The incoming senior guard also continues to improve as a shooter from the perimeter. Hill picked up his second Division 1 offer from Montana back in the spring.

Malachi was all over the place making plays for D1 Minnesota 17u on night one. It started with his defense, as he was constantly picking up full-court and pressuring opposing guards the length of the floor. Within the first few minutes of the game Malachi had already racked up two steals, a pull-up jumper, a transition finish, and an assist that led to an alley-oop dunk. Malachi is a competitor who simply wants to go out and make winning plays, and that’s exactly what he did last night against Team 1848 .
