About Keishaun
Expert Analysis
Kevin Branson Jr. | Prep Hoops Scout
Keishaun left his mark on the game in Thursday night’s matchup against Osseo. He is an extremely quick guard, using his speed to get to the rim on drives and put pressure on the defense in transition. His quickness demands defensive attention, opening up catch-and-shoot three-point opportunities, which he converted efficiently on Thursday night. On the defensive end, Keishaun is a pest who applies strong ball pressure and consistently disrupts the opposing offense.

both out, TG needed someone to step up against Richfield. Rolle did just that, coming up with some huge plays defensively. Shortly after checking into the game, Keishaun hit a three, drew a charge, forced a tie-up on the floor, and deflected a long pass that may have ended up in a lay-up for Richfield. The 6’1 guard was all over the floor defensively, pressuring the ball hard and putting himself in the right spots off the ball to come up with stops.

Keishaun was one of the standout defenders from this past weekend. Combining elite quickness with a 6’+ frame out on the perimeter, Keishaun was a nightmare for opposing point guards. In a matchup with D1 Minnesota 15u, Rolle was applying constant pressure on the ball, and was able to come up with a number of steals to get his team out in transition. Keishaun has the speed in the open floor to get all the way to the rim and extend to finish with a defender trying to chase him down. His motor never seemed to stop defensively, and his play on both ends was key in the win for D1 Minnesota Gold on Sunday.

Keishaun has been a key part of Minnesota Gold’s run to the NHR State semifinals, bringing a lot to the table as a 5’9” guard. He is a scrappy defender, as opposing guards were having trouble with his physicality and lateral quickness on the perimeter. He is quick with the ball in his hands, being able to make one move to get downhill where he can make plays happen. He is a great finisher around the rim and showed some impressive vision as well.
