AJ is one of the most versatile forwards in Minnesota. Running with Elevate Skills you’ll see him play a point-forward role as his handle and vision is just that good for a player his size. AJ can dish out assists from the perimeter, or face up out of the high post where he has the ability to pass, drive, or hit the mid-range jumper. He’s always had soft touch on his shot, and is continuing to extend his range to become more consistent out beyond the arc. Someone who always seems to stuff the box score by the end of each game.

AJ has a very intriguing blend of size and skill at 6’6. He can play a point forward role and get his team into their offense, he can operate with his back to the basket, or he can take opposing bigs off the dribble from the wing. AJ has impressive vision, with the ability to pass out of the block, or penetrate and kick it out to an open shooter. At times I’d like to see him be a bit more selfish as he’s talented enough to create good scoring opportunities on his own, but he does a great job of getting all of his teammates involved in the game.

– Taban is a six-foot-six-inch 2027 forward from Totino-Grace that in September showed up at The Expo looking quicker and more confident from the perimeter as a shooter. Taban, a bigger bodied forward, moves well in the open floor and has his eyes up and passes the ball. Taban defensively stays down low, and helps well. His lateral quickness enables him to defend a bit on the perimeter.
