Kingland was a mismatch nightmare in the game I watched. At 6’6 he’s too big for a lot of wings to defend, but bigger forwards had such a hard time moving their feet with him to defend the drive. Throughout the game Kingland was gliding to the rim in transition, beating defenders from the wing, and knocked down a few jumpers as well. He never looked sped up on the ball and simply took what the defense gave him. He’s been one of the biggest stock risers in the state over the past year, and his best basketball still looks to be ahead of him.

Kingland was already one of the biggest stock risers in the state, coming off of a great summer with Elevate Skills. At 6’6”, he has a very versatile skillset, being able to effect winning in a variety of ways. He is an excellent defender and rebounder, coming away with contested boards and matching up with different styles of players. Adeosun is confident with the ball in his hands, creating shots for himself and playing aggressively.

When it comes to outstanding 17u seasons Kingland should be at the top of the list. The 6’6 forward had a good double figure year at Stillwater and then showed he can score at the arc, score inside, rebound in bulk and play hard throughout April, May, June and July. Kingland took a big jump and should have a great senior season for the Ponies.
