This was apparent in both the 3v3 and 5v5 portions of The Expo, being very tough to stay in front of in space. He is very crafty and impressed me with the change of speeds he plays with to work around his defender. The 6'9” forward has blossomed into an elite athlete, being able to dominate the interior. He was playing above the rim all day, throwing down dunks in traffic and constantly blocking and altering shots. He also showed he is more than capable of putting the ball on the floor and creating using the dribble. He is such an exciting athlete, as he was showing off his bounce with some impressive dunks in the open floor. At 6'6”, he has a very versatile skillset, being able to effect winning in a variety of ways. He is an excellent defender and rebounder, coming away with contested boards and matching up with different styles of players. He has a very long 6'6” frame and was great defending the rim, as well as picking up on guards on the perimeter. He was very effective getting downhill for layups at the rim, using his length to convert over defenders. Like Glass, he is so effective creating off the dribble, shining in 1-on-1 scenarios. He was scoring from all three levels, showing off his three-point shot with several makes from beyond the arc. Many of the same traits that I liked were on full display at The Expo on Saturday. He is an automatic finisher around the rim, using his strength and craftiness to convert with power or finesse in traffic.
