Nardos played JV for Stillwater last year (transfer rules) and I think he’s ready for a big jump this winter.
Nardos has had a really nice season for Heat Morgan in a lot of different ways. He can get those feet balanced and knock out a jumper, he is really quick with the basketball and we have seen him really have success in transition and attacking lanes in the halfcourt, and he’s quick to loose balls and passing lanes on the defensive end
This weekend Heat Morgan went 3-1 and Isaac had 58 point across those four games.
Isaac’s primary job when he was on the floor was to knock down looks from three. He was one of the better shooter prospects I saw on Saturday and has a lot of confidence in his shot. He was great off the catch, getting shots off fast with his quick release, but also being able to pull up off the dribble a few feet beyond the arc.
Isaac had to be up there with the event leaders in steals this past weekend. He’s a lightning quick guard with great instincts off the ball. Those instincts had him jumping passes like an All Pro defensive back to come up with steals in bulk, and his speed in the open floor helped turn them into two points consistently. In the half-court he did a good job of feeding his bigs on the block, and was dangerous as a pick & roll ball handler with his ability to get downhill and make plays in the lane.
Isaac was a real game-changer this past weekend with the way he controlled games and consistently made winning plays for his squad. The elite shooter and distributor handled extended minutes while playing shorthanded, yet never seemed rattled or sped up. More often than not, the pace of the game was completely in Isaac’s hands whenever he was on the floor. Nardos averaged around 5 assists across three games while also recording 2+ steals in each contest, showing his impact on both ends. His biggest performance came in Game 2 of the weekend when he exploded for 30 points, 6 assists, and 3 steals. Isaac does a tremendous job balancing scoring with playmaking, making the easy read while also creating offense at a high level. Whether he’s knocking down shots, setting up teammates, or disrupting opponents defensively, Nardos consistently finds ways to control momentum and elevate his team.
Isaac is a quick guard who impressed with his scrappiness on the defensive end. He was constantly pressuring the ball and fought to get over the top of ball screens. Isaac was always looking to play fast, and helped his team create some good looks by pushing the ball up the floor. Racked up a handful of assists by driving and kicking it out to his three point shooters.
