Paris impressed playing up this past weekend with Gain Elite . The 8th grade guard looked good conducting an offense full of scoring threats, making the right plays, both scoring himself and sharing the ball. He is a major threat from deep and was at his best when hitting on shots from the perimeter off the dribble. Kyles has a ton of potential as a prospect, and reminds me of a young Braeden Carrington or Xavier Frelix.

Jr. has made a name for himself over the past year, already earning varsity minutes at Park Center High School. He continued his strong play on Sunday in 14U competition at the Twin Cities Takedown Tournament. Kyles uses a balanced combination of athleticism, shooting ability, and ball-handling to make an impact offensively. In a matchup against
D1 Minnesota
(Gold), he came out aggressive, knocking down three early three-pointers that helped open up driving lanes. His first step, particularly going left, is a major asset. He finishes effectively with either hand. Kyles projects as a player who will continue to develop into a legitimate college prospect.

Paris plays up in the 14U ranks for Gain Elite but for NHR State he was with the Gain Elite 13U-1 squad. He’s going to be featured as a top 13U prospect, but I still need to watch a couple more games of Gain Elite 13U-1 from NHR State. I think he has great upside as he ages, and I predict him to develop into a top 10 2030 prospect in Minnesota.

Paris was a top 2-3 13U prospect I saw. He’s got a rare length and skill combination for such a young prospect. 6’0” young guard that can handle the rock and create off the drive. I think he can be a prominent prospect in Minnesota if he can translate to a lengthy lead guard. He’s a high-level passer and assister.
