Idris Alowonle is a six-foot-four-inch 2028 wing from Park Center and plays with Gain Elite P32 team. This spring and summer Alowonle showed off an ability to finish in transition in fantastic fashion above the rim running like a track athlete and jumping like a long jumper. Alowonle showcasing better handle with the ball and good length gives him some good advantages on the perimeter.
I’m not sure I saw a better rebounder at the 15u level over the weekend than Idris. At 6’2 he rebounds the ball like he’s 6’6+. Idris has an incredibly long wingspan at his size, and is quick off the floor for tip ins on the offensive end. All weekend long he seemed to be keeping possessions alive with his efforts on the offensive glass, and defensively was able to alter shots with his length around the rim. Just a hard working forward who’s going to sprint the floor in transition, pull in every missed shot in his area, and finish off his looks at the rim at a high percentage. Helped lead Gain Elite
