Bryce was simply getting any shot he wanted against Rise Above. His footwork makes him so tough to stop when isolated on the block, and the high release point with his baby hook allows him to get shots off over length. Bryce handles the ball in a way not many guys can, calmly maneuvering his way to the rim for lay-ups. He’s not just a scorer either as Bryce showcased his impressive vision as a passer. He seems to have eyes in the back of his head when operating on the block, meaning you’re taking a big risk any time you try to double-team him.

on the block. His combination of touch, size, and footwork is just that good at the high school level. Against Iowa Suns on Sunday, any time the help defense was late getting to him, Bryce was looking to attack on the block. He could score with a simple turn over the shoulder, get his defender in the air with an up-and-under move, or use his strength to play some bully ball. And because he can step out to the perimeter and handle it/shoot it, opposing bigs are often at a disadvantage as they simply can’t move as well as he can.

Mr. Gaustad is a player to watch thanks to the immediate impact he makes with his size and length. He stands out right away, but it’s his skill set that really separates him. Gaustad is comfortable playing inside and out, shoots the ball at a high level, and shows strong vision as a passer. His footwork is advanced, allowing him to create space and finish with a soft touch around the rim. On the defensive end, he’s just as impactful, using his length to protect the rim and alter shots while changing the flow of the game. Gaustad’s combination of size, skill, and defensive presence makes him a versatile difference-maker who can impact both ends of the floor in a big way.

Against a Jumpman Elite team that featured multiple D1 committed 2026 prospects, Bryce stole the show to lead his team to a win. Finishing with 23 points and 10 rebounds, he flashed his combination of low-post footwork and perimeter skill that makes him so difficult to matchup with. On one possession he could come down and create separation for a pull-up jumper, and the next he was beating you with a spin move around the basket. He has such soft touch inside that allows him to convert difficult looks over high level rim protectors. Spent time handling the ball for his team throughout the game as well.
