I saw Eddie play a couple times during the summer and I was impressed again on Sunday. I mostly saw him during 3v3 action, as he was finding success taking his defender off the dribble and getting inside. He has a strong 6’3” frame and was able to fight through contact on made layups. Reinert picked up a couple impressive blocks as well.

– Reinert the six-foot-three-inch guard from Elk River and
Northstar Titans
had an impressive steal and lay-up when he jumped a passing lane for a score. Showed good awareness to get out and run behind the defense on a turnover.

Eddie really impressed me with his ability to create off the dribble and get downhill. The Elk River freshman already has solid size for a wing and was finding success putting the ball on the floor. Reinert used that size to finish through contact, being really tough to stop when he gets to his right hand. He had many moves he could go to when finishing around the rim and looked really good pushing the ball up the floor to create transition opportunities.

Eddie was going to work in the 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 drills, creating shots for himself using the dribble. He had a bunch of different moves he could go to, making it very easy for him to create space from his defender. He was then able to get to his spots in the mid-range or from beyond the arc for pull-up jumpers. The 6’2” guard is incredibly shifty and was very hard to stay in front of when I saw him with the ball.
