Fred was the floor general for a Northstar Titans team that made it all the way to the 16u championship game. He was one of the quickest players in the gym this past weekend, able to get to just about any spot he wanted to off the dribble. At 5’9 he was fearless attacking the basket, able to freeze defenders with a hesitation move and then blow by to get into the lane and finish. If the help-side was able to react in time, Fred did a good job of locating an open shooter out on the perimeter. Added in a couple of three point makes on his own in the game I watched.

Another solid under six foot guard in this game between the Northstar Titans and CV Select. Fred was by far the best player in this showdown in the afternoon, finishing the game with 18 points, and a handful of assists and rebounds. Onyinkwa is so fast with the ball in his hands and led a one man fast break for the Titans as they won this battle. The guard prospect from PACT Charter, has a smooth jump shot and great touch from the midrange. Onyinkwa was one of the better Minnesota prospects I was able to take in on Sunday.
