‘s rim running relentless effort led to him having the option to play for just about anybody in the NSIC and it sounds like Minnesota State-Mankato and Minnesota Duluth are big leaders. Simply put, no Midwest player had the ability to both run with and be big/strong enough to stop Kobby from doing what he wanted to do at the rim. Kobby led the Fury Goring to 40 wins and you could argue he was the 17u MVP of Minnesota.

His size and strength have been very difficult for defenders to match up with, as he is automatic when he gets to finishes in the paint. He has a high motor and is also a versatile defender that can switch on to different kinds of players. Sambrew converted on eight baskets for 16 points and the win for Minnesota Fury Goring in the championship.
