Hunter continued to show flashes of his potential at 6’10. The junior big man showcased his mobility that helped him slide into positions to contest around the rim, and consistently beat opposing bigs up the floor in transition. He handles the ball well at his size, and showed comfort taking a defensive rebound and putting the ball on the floor to initiate the break on his own. When matched up against another 6’10 big on Sunday Hunter showed he can create his own shots off the dribble. In the two games I watched he hit a number of threes and worked hard on the offensive glass for second chance buckets.

– The six-foot-ten-inch 2027 La Sueur-Henderson big man recorded a 36-20-5 game December 4th versus WEM, and then followed that game with a 34-23-3-3 game versus New Richland-Hartland. Vinkemeier stretches the floor very well as a shooter, he’s a good passer, he can bring the ball up the floor as a ball handler, and his size makes him a threat at the rim defensively constantly.
