Hunter came up huge in overtime in a semi-finals matchup with Northstar Titans . The 6’10 big man hit a stepback three to push his team ahead in the final minute, and from there was cleaning up everything on the glass to secure the victory. In the championship game he would go on to have a huge run in the first half to give his team a big boost of momentum. Hunter showcased a quick release on his three point shot, and did a nice job of keeping his balance when double teamed to either go up and finish or find an open man with a kick-out pass. Skilled and mobile prospect at 6’10.

Hunter continued to show flashes of his potential at 6’10. The junior big man showcased his mobility that helped him slide into positions to contest around the rim, and consistently beat opposing bigs up the floor in transition. He handles the ball well at his size, and showed comfort taking a defensive rebound and putting the ball on the floor to initiate the break on his own. When matched up against another 6’10 big on Sunday Hunter showed he can create his own shots off the dribble. In the two games I watched he hit a number of threes and worked hard on the offensive glass for second chance buckets.
