The Nickle Dickle Basketball Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This Saturday there is the 3 on 3 tournament, the three point shooting contest and the dunk contest. The Waconia based event has become by far the biggest day of the Minnesota high school basketball year when it comes to these three contests and the level of athletes coming to the event continues to get better!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Three Point Shootout! </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is your three point shooting field! A contest that includes Schroeder, Udean, and Hagler is must see basketball stuff. People have been arguing about who the best shooter is between Schroeder and Udean and this Saturday the state of Minnesota gets their chance to find out in head to head competition. That said, Hagler is right there and Vinkemeier has shot a hit percent of threes as well in his career. And it's great to see Purcell is listed as he is just over a half of a year removed from a knee injury. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Schroeder returns to defend his title. He'll also be trying to win another Nickle Dickle 3 on 3 championship. Udean returns to the 3-Point Contest after taking last year off. Udean finished second in the 2024 contest. If you have been to a lot of basketball events you have seen Woitel-Anschutz dunking before games, he is now at Hopkins after playing with Armstrong this summer and playing for Hiawatha last winter.
