The pass first, hard working defender, state championship point guard recently added the scholarship option to state home and play for St. Thomas. In addition, Tyler also added July scholarship offers from South Dakota State, North Dakota, and Sam Houston State to go with an offer from Ohio. Forest now has a very strong group of schools to pick from as visits start in later August (although visits can happen this week as well).

Tyler Forrest – The six-foot-three-inch 2027 state champion Chaska point guard who’s picked up recent D1 offers playing for D1 Minnesota 3SSB put together a solid performance Saturday in their win over Upward Stars. Forrest scored 10 points, mostly late free throws to seal the victory, he grabbed 5 rebounds, and handed out 7 assists. Forrest just keeps making winning plays from the point position.

Tyler, coming off of a Class 4A State Title, continues to improve his game, as he will be one of the top players in the state next season. I was really impressed with the effort and energy he was bringing on the defensive end, making opposing guards lives very difficult. He is a very smart lead guard and was getting his team a good look on every possession. Forrest is a winner and can impact winning in so many different ways.
