Herzog is another 17U Hoop Habits guard that can really shoot from the perimeter and high court IQ. Herzog moves the ball, and plays well off the ball offensively. Defensively he seems to be in a good position.

Eli Herzog Eli Herzog 6'1" | SG Chaska | 2027 State MN – Herzog is a six-foot-one-inch 2027 Chaska guard that plays with Hoop Habits UA 17U team. Herzog displayed his good outside shooting ability in a game against Elevate Skills making a number of 3-pointers. Spotted up from the corner and a pull-up from the slot, Herzog showed he can shoot it from the outside.

Eli brought energy and effort to the floor. That level of hustle was exemplified when he chased a man down from a couple yards back in transition, and poked the ball free from behind for a steal. Was very unselfish as he was constantly looking to find his shooters or push the ball ahead in transition. Really liked his willingness to share the ball in an event where a lot of players are just looking for their own shot.

I was really impressed with Eli’s performance on Sunday, getting whatever he wanted in the 3v3 portion of camp. He has deep range and was pulling up from a couple steps beyond the three-point line. He is super quick and shifty, having no trouble blowing right by defenders where he could cap it off with some tough layups through traffic. Herzog also brought effort on the defensive side of the ball, playing physical inside when matched up with bigger guards.
