Kaydon impressed while playing up at the 17u level with MN Rise . In just a couple of minutes, he completely turned the game around, finishing twice at the rim and picking up two assists to bring his team from down by 4 to leading by 5 with 10 minutes to play. His team kept the momentum from there, and would go on to win the game. With his length and skillset he could play the 1-4 spots for his team, as he handles it well under pressure, can create for himself and his teammates off the dribble, and uses his length to cause disruptions on the defensive end.

Against Mankato Loyola Firchau scored 27 points, grabbed 8 boards, had 4 steals, 2 assists and a block. The 2028 sophomore is a solid athlete, handles the ball on the perimeter well, runs the floor, and as you can see from stats, does a bit of everything on the floor. The outside jump shot looks pretty good mechanically and he has good rhythm.
