The last dozen months we have only seen so much of Cook but what we saw in the spring, there is potential there as a skilled wing with size. The best basketball we’ve seen him play was with the Heat in the spring before he got injured and missed the summer. Big year at Tech is coming.

The 6’5 wing has a ton of talent as a scorer and was playing some of the best basketball we have seen from him this spring with the Heat. Cook had some moments at the MBCA Camp but he then got hurt and missed the rest of the summer, and he also played rarely at Wayzata as a junior.

We have seen the potential Izayah has with Sauk Rapids-Rice, with the Heat and will likely see it against this year with St. Cloud Tech. Cook has scholarship potential, just needs some more time on the floor as an upperclassmen.

Izayah Cook Izayah Cook 6'4" | C St. Cloud Tech | 2027 MN – The six-foot-five-inch 2027 St. Cloud Tech (transferred from Wayzata) wing is a talented scorer with ability to put the ball on the floor while driving with good handling and ability to create his own shot. Cook can spot-up in the corners and wings for 3-pointers as well. Cook certainly has guard skills with solid size. Cook can be productive and efficient in transition.
