Massive Performances Headline Wednesday Peach Jam Stars

Take a look at 25 prospects who made an impression in the games that I evaluated.    Collins lived up to his reputation as this was my first extensive live look at him. Broad shouldered wing that does a great job of getting to his spots rising up for crisp mid-range jumpers along with an easy release from beyond the arc. Backed in for post scores with spins in the lane and had a nice high/low seal for a score. Uses his strength and physicality to score along with displaying creative handles off the bounce. Also got on the glass along with being a connective wing passer. Bright future here as he had 19 points (7-13 FG), 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.     First time seeing this post since last summer. Like the growth we saw as he did showcase the feathery mid-range game that we saw previously particularly in the mid-range and baseline. Cut off the ball, effective as a roller, and handled it in the open floor. The skilled post is a quality passer as well. He was solid on the glass in this game. Overall the mobility has seemed to really improve as he notched 19 points (7-15 FG) (0-4 3PT) (5-5 FT), 7 rebounds, and 2 dimes.     Really liked what we saw out of Coleman as the scoring guard is a slick ball handler who can create constantly putting pressure on the rim. Downhill takes where he would finish or get fouled. Liked the efficiency he played with scoring in the paint on floaters, turn around jumpers, along with getting out in transition. Quick twitched athlete! Went for 20 points (8-12 FG), 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.     Deng is a thin bodied four man that makes his largest impact on the defensive end. Switchable defender on the perimeter who can stay with a guard for several dribbles. Timing and feel as a shot blocker inside. Offensively works best out of the dunker spot and on lobs. He had 5 points (2-3 FG), 3 blocks, and 2 steals.     Muhammad-El was one of my favorite long term prospects at Elite 100 in June. With his size, frame, and uber length he just screams prospect! Came out assertive in the early going banging in a pair of threes including one where he crossed into an outstanding shot. Plays above the rim throwing down alley-oops and acrobatic layups. Loved what we saw from him as a passer making great reads off live dribbles on the fly leading to buckets. Finished the morning game with 17 points (5-11 FG) (2-2 3PT) (5-6 FT), 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.     Lovejoy is a smaller point guard with shifty handles. Shot it pretty well from mid-range along with stretching to three on occasion. Shot release is on the side of head, but they seemed to go down at a decent clip. Rebounds well for a guard and is a solid passer that got his teammates involved in their game against CP3 as he had 17 points (7-16 FG) (3-6 3PT), 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.     Williams has everything you look for in a #1 overall prospect nationally. Positional size on the wing, elite athleticism, and a mindset to want to be the best. He had a dominant first half in their morning contest as the 2028 prospect was playing up on 17U. Feathery shot from beyond the arc. Also shot faked into and-1s on straight line takes to the cup. Liked how aggressive, but under control he was with the ball in his hands. Got to the line at a nice clip. Rebounds well for a wing and is a big time perimeter defender with his mentality along with his physical gifts. Also a nice connective passer who makes solid reads with the rock. He had 32 points (8-15 FG) (3-7 3PT) (13-13 FT), 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.     Connor is a 6'7” wing who might be a little underrated nationally, but the schools in Texas are noticing recently landing a Houston and Texas A&M offers. Like the size, frame, and length combo! He won on straight line takes, got to the foul line at a high rate, and played above the rim in transition along with lobs. Quality handles being able to create off the bounce. Love the high-motor he brings to the table on both ends and boards well for a wing. Dropped 12 points (4-6 FG) and snatched 8 rebounds.     Kendrick is a favorite of mine as I got to know him at Nike Elite 100 last year. Elite leader and off the charts character. Kind of kid you can see running a business as a CEO or President! Plays with that mentality as he has a high basketball IQ reading the game one play ahead making sound decisions with the ball as a true floor general. Unique part of his game is he is ambidextrous being able to shoot at an above average clip with either hand. Pull ups with either hand and floaters with either hand. Such an instinctual feel for the game. His athleticism has taken a notch up as well. More pop than we saw last summer throwing down big dunks and it is also shown on the defensive end with his quickness creating turnovers. He had 22 points (7-14 FG) (7-10 FT), 7 assists, and 6 steals in the victory.     Pur is a bouncy post that brings a ton of defensive versatility to the table. Wiry big man is a plus shot blocker who alters many others. Also has switchability on the defensive end, runs the floor, and is an active offensive rebounder. High-energy post who plays off his athleticism. Efficient 6 points (3-4 FG) and 5 rebounds.     It was a bit of a slow start for Bowman, but the five star guard had it rolling from the second quarter on. Elite shot maker that poured them in all over the floor. Gets to his spot and rises over defenders with ease from both two and three. The shot making difficulty got harder as the game went along draining and-1 triples and even hitting a runner three to give his team a chance late. The combination of athleticism and shot making are so intriguing at the college and NBA levels. Bowman went for 33 points (10-21 FG) (7-11 3PT) (6-6 FT) along with 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals cementing his status among nations best.     Morris caught our attention as a point guard with a wiry frame. Liked the intensity he brought on the defensive end along with showing some flashes shooting it from the perimeter. He had 11 points (3-8 3PT) and 4 rebounds.     The top guard in the senior class brought it in their 84-69 win against [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last='']. He went for 37 points (14-20 FG) (7-9 FT), 5 rebounds, 4 dimes, and 3 steals. The insane shot making is what stood out in the early going for Black as he drained multiple corner jumpers off movement where he squared his shoulders to the hoop and knocked in a jumper. Liked how he creates space consistently on his shot. Then he went to work off the bounce with his crisp handles creating through gaps in the defense getting downhill for layups and trips to the foul line. Electric athlete who played above the rim, rebounded, and was a plus defender making his opponents work for what they got. His vision also stood out as when they tried to take him out of the game from a scoring perspective he would instead make quick reads which led to dimes or hockey assists.     The 6'5” Santos is a combo forward who brings strength and motor to the table. Snatched rebounds in bunches on both ends of the floor. Got loose in transition multiple times along with being physical getting to the charity stripe. He had 17 points (6-8 FG) (5-5 FT) and 13 rebounds on the afternoon.     Wesley brings plus athleticism to the table on the wing. Bouncy wing with quick twitched pop. Made an array of mid-range jumpers along with mixing in a corner three. He had 11 points (4-10 FG), 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.     The Arkansas commit took a lot of tough contested shots in this game where he racked up 21 points (5-13 FG) (3-7 3PT) (8-8 FT). I thought the best part of his game was when he was assertive attacking downhill getting to the line using his physicality in the paint to draw contact while shooting perfect from the line.     Illini commit is a stat sheet stuffing versatile small forward who is a connective piece on the offensive end. His scoring has continued to tick up this summer as we saw again here with 15 points (5-12 FG) (5-5 FT) and 6 rebounds. Didn't shoot it particularly well from distance in this game, but was effective backing in out of the mid-post area, going through defenders on drives, and getting on the offensive glass.     Davis is a high level passer with pinpoint accuracy on his dimes. Was at his best in the drive and kick game setting up his teammates for open looks kicking along with finding guys on the move. Did not shoot it well from three in this game (2-13 FG), but did manage to get to the line like Thompson and Kitt at a high rate where he went 10-11. Finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.     Mitchell had one of his best games when they needed it the most. The Indiana native who is TBD on a high school for next year came up huge in this game making key shot at important times including a spin move out of the high post that proved to be the winner. Thick bodied power forward rebounded well in traffic on both ends. Was aggressive using his physical advantage to over power defenders then utilizing his nimble footwork around the cup for scores. He had 22 points (9-14 FG) and 5 rebounds in the BBE win over Mokan.     Chicago native who is now at La Lumiere put up a strong performance as he knocked in a couple of long balls, made the extra pass when opportunities presented themselves getting his teammates clean looks, and was slick with the rock on drives including euro steps. He is such a slithery guard with the rock in his hands as he notched 13 points (4-10 FG) (2-6 3PT) (3-3 FT) along with 6 assists and 3 steals.     McKinney has been a well known name since coming into high school starring at Vashon. Continues to progress and is playing with a lot of confidence as a combo guard who is assertive taking it to the rack with his quick first step and speed in transition. Wins on straight line takes and mixed in a couple jumpers for 14 points (5-10 FG) and 4 rebounds.     Cochran is an under appreciated big man that has legit size as a five man that impacts on both ends. Seals for slams, gets on the offensive glass, and is mobile with touch around the cup. Defensively he blocks and alters shots as a rim protector. Finished with 11 points (4-10 FG), 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks.     Adkinson is a Mizzou commit who is flat out electric with the rock in his hands! The Webster Groves standout had it all working in this game as he was putting defenders in spin cycles off the bounce for scores at the cup. Elite speed and burst with the rock in his hands. Understands and uses angles very well. Scored through contact, hit a pair of super deep threes, and was a standout passing the ball as well with crisp dimes throughout the game as he had 20 points (6-10 FG) (2-3 3PT) (6-7 FT) and 4 rebounds.     Pogi is a scoring combo guard who shot it well from three in this game. Drained 4-10 from distance which is what he is best at. Well built guard made shots both pulling up from deep, off the dribble, and on the catch as he dropped 14 points and had 3 assists.     Barnes is a strong bodied post that is a high motor player. Brings physicality up front along with a solid skill level. Handled it very well in transition getting to the cup and overall was light on his feet for how big he is. Went for 8 points (4-8 FG), 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
