Wesley really popped with the explosive athleticism and the authoritative finishes above the rim throughout the weekend as Southeastern Prep left Canada with a 2-0 showing. His better statistical outing came in their win over Royal Crown (CAN) on Saturday as he finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. Whether it was in transition or in the half court, whenever Wesley got downhill his bruising frame and pop off one foot came into play attacking the rim. He also spent a few attempts from outside taking advantage of late closeouts with a confident, fluid shooting stroke.

The most electric dunker in the state, Wesley put his elite athleticism on full display with one violent rim attack after another. Whether soaring in transition, cutting backdoor, or cleaning up the offensive glass, he consistently elevated with jaw-dropping explosion. His two-foot takeoffs were powerful and efficient, leading to poster-worthy finishes and momentum-shifting slams. He played above the rim every chance he got and brought the gym to life whenever he took flight.

Marri was all over the floor for AB Elite EYBL all weekend as they made a statement at the Battle of the Brands tournament. Part of an explosive starting lineup, Wesley is a good 3 level scorer who can get any kind of bucket whenever he wants to. In the game I watched him play on Saturday, no defender could stay in front of Marri as he got to the hoop and got some key and-ones to fall under the rim. He made sure to make the most out of his opportunities at the charity stripe and was a physical on ball defender who used his frame and IQ to create fastbreak chances for his team to score when he was able to rip the ball from his matchup. This was my second time getting to watch Wesley in his person and his ceiling continues to be sky high going into AAU season.

Wesley brought a fearless and intimidating presence to the floor. He excelled at absorbing contact and finishing through defenders, showcasing his strength and body control. His ability to convert tough baskets under pressure made him a consistent offensive threat. Defensively, Wesley was disruptive, blowing up pindown screens and preventing opponents from getting clean looks. His physicality and relentless approach gave his team a noticeable edge in the trenches.
