Muhammad-El was one of my favorite long term prospects at Elite 100 in June.  With his size, frame, and uber length he just screams prospect!  Came out assertive in the early going banging in a pair of threes including one where he crossed into an outstanding shot.  Plays above the rim throwing down alley-oops and acrobatic layups.  Loved what we saw from him as a passer making great reads off live dribbles on the fly leading to buckets.  Finished the morning game with 17 points (5-11 FG) (2-2 3PT) (5-6 FT), 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Michigan’s 2028 class could be the best to come out of the state in a handful of years and Muhammad is a notable prospect who recently picked up an offer from Nebraska. Muhammad checks a lot of boxes from the wing position with his strong frame, two-way impact, ability to play above the rim and pass the basketball. Wings that have no glaring weaknesses are incredibly valuable because they cannot be played off the court. Look for Muhammad to add to his offer list and find himself on other national rankings sites sooner rather than later.
