Adkinson is a Mizzou commit who is flat out electric with the rock in his hands!  The Webster Groves standout had it all working in this game as he was putting defenders in spin cycles off the bounce for scores at the cup.  Elite speed and burst with the rock in his hands.  Understands and uses angles very well.  Scored through contact, hit a pair of super deep threes, and was a standout passing the ball as well with crisp dimes throughout the game as he had 20 points (6-10 FG) (2-3 3PT) (6-7 FT) and 4 rebounds.

Adkinson is ranked as the top player in the Class of 2027 by Prep Hoops Missouri and will go play for the Tigers in college. The national four-star prospect is a really fun guard to watch with a unique blend of strength, athleticism, and skill. He rebounds very well from the perimeter and isn’t afraid to play through contact off of the bounce, but also has the typical finesse and ball skill of a true combo guard. Adkinson led MOKAN Elite 17u to a win in a tough battle with Meanstreets 17u on Tuesday finishing with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Adkinson, arguably the top player in the state of Missouri, makes yet another appearance on one of basketball’s biggest stages. Scottie’s play has continued to trend upward this spring, as he’s consistently impacted games for MOKAN Elite through the first few EYBL stops. He’s playing unselfish basketball and regularly using the attention he draws to create opportunities for teammates. His ability to score at all three levels has been as steady as expected, and his frame continues to fill out as he heads into the summer months. The NBPA should present yet another opportunity for Scottie to put his game on full display.

Adkinson is the top junior in Missouri and he played like it on Saturday.  What impressed us most was the complete game that he brought to the table!  The Mizzou commit has always been an elite scorer.  He showcased that in this game scoring 30 points as the lefty combo guard is instant offense.  He is so quick with the ball in his hands creating space, drawing fouls, and utilizing his deep shot making!  Even more impressive was his continued growth as a passer.  He set others up consistently throughout their game against MacArthur.  Ripped passes through traffic finding his teammates particularly Woods over and over.  Also threw lobs and found teammates in the half court.  His added strength in his upper body and well-rounded skill set have taken his game to another level.  Went for 30 points and 8 dimes.  One of the best guards in the country!
