Daniel Siehndel | Prep Hoops Scout
There isn’t a player in the state of Missouri right now riding more momentum than Powers. His recruitment continues to take off, and his game seems to be following right along with it. He’s noticeably bigger and stronger, and now at a legitimate 6’5”, he’s added a strong slashing and finishing dimension to his scoring profile. When you combine that with his high basketball IQ, feel for the game, and what looks like virtually unlimited shooting range, there’s no question this weekend should be another opportunity for Powers to shine against top competition from across the country. He’ll be playing at EYBL Session II in Memphis.

Powers continues to be one of the state’s most prolific shot takers and shot makers, playing with a level of confidence that sets him apart from other players. Another year of growth has seen his overall skill set continue to round out as well, especially with his ability to finish above the rim as an athletic scorer.
Best known for his shooting, he knocked down 71 three-pointers this season for Westminster while shooting 36% from beyond the arc. He also averaged over 22 points per game to go along with more than seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals per contest.
A true do-it-all guard, he’s already picked up recent offers from Southern Illinois and Northern Iowa. If Will continues to take steps forward physically and sustain his high-level production this summer, it’s easy to see him pushing into the Power Four conversation and picking up offers from some of the top programs in the region.

The 6’4″ shooting guard elevated his game and led the Wildcats to a third-place finish in the Class 5 state tournament. He had some of his biggest games against the best teams on the schedule. He’s athletic with three-level scoring ability and a high-arching jumper. He played with MoKan Elite’s 16U team during the summer. He picked up his first Division I offer from Austin Peay last week.

The 6’4″ 2027 shooting guard put on quite an offensive display in the two games that I watched him. He is a three-level scorer who is excellent at creating his own shot off the dribble. He creates the space for himself, then hits the high arching jumper from 3-point range. He uses the jab step very well to back up defenders before raising up to shoot it. He also comes off screens shot ready with his movement. He attacked well off the dribble and he also threw down multiple dunks.
