Friday November 28th

Loveland Vs Badin 12:30 P.M.

The opening game of the event sees Loveland return for another year in this event. Loveland is led by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2445462' first='Chase' last='Martin'] and they'll face a GCL-Co Ed squad looking to replace senior Cooper Ollis who led the way with 15 PPG last season. I expect this to be a slow, grind it out game that should come down to the last couple minutes.

Lakota East Vs Chaminade Julienne 2:15 P.M.

Lakota East will once again be one of the tougher teams to face in the GMC and with 2028 duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2422124' first='Brady' last='Bowman'] and Jj Smith leading the way, the Thunderhawks should be a tough out once again. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='2575999' first='Noah' last='Fletcher'] and Luke Shaw to try and establish themselves this season as well after some key seniors graduated from last year. On the other side, Chaminade Julienne is also replacing some top talent as David Cartwright leaves after leading the team at over 12 PPG last year. [player_tooltip player_id='2458959' first='Chase' last='Jones'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2458960' first='Caden' last='Hatcher'] are seniors to watch and we'll see if any younger names took big leaps from last season.

Cincinnati Taft Vs Zanesville Maysville 4:00 P.M.

A highly anticipated battle between top 10 teams in my Division IV preseason rankings, Taft brings a talented guard group to battle this season. [player_tooltip player_id='2453391' first='Keion' last='Griffin'] is a key returner and transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1812058' first='Antwan' last='Hinton'] provides experience at his third CMAC program. Add in younger pieces like Herman Walker and the Senators have a talented group. Maysville is the defending Division IV state champions and they return their starting 5 that's led by [player_tooltip player_id='2386466' first='Gator' last='Nichols'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2386467' first='Jordyn' last='Watson']. Look for the Panthers to try and outshoot their opponents in each game this season, with multiple players on the team having bright green lights to launch away from way downtown.

Lebanon Vs Mt Vernon Fortville (IN) 5:45 P.M.

An elite point guard battle between JaShawn Coffey and Purdue commit [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel'], this one should be fun to watch. I think Mt Vernon Fortville has more talent around Ertel and overall experience but I'm most looking forward to one of the best point guard battles you could create in the midwest.

Fairfield Vs Little Miami 7:30 P.M.

Second straight season seeing Little Miami at this event to end Friday night, while Little Miami graduates star Carter Sellers, Cade Wojnicz returns after scoring 7 PPG on 48-39-85 shooting splits. Fairfield has a new look team and the injury to DeMaceo Bronston does them no favors but Coach Wyrick has built a winning culture for the Indians who have been to three regional title games in the past 5 years. Expect a breakout year for [player_tooltip player_id='2222945' first='Trevor' last='Davids'] as a junior.

Saturday November 29th

Cincinnati LaSalle Vs Hilliard Bradley 11:30 A.M.

A really interesting matchup between two teams who will be patient offensively and take care of the basketball, both of these teams will be comfortable at the tempo the game is played at and I expect to see efficient offense out the gate. The 2028 guard matchup of [player_tooltip player_id='2461095' first='Kyp' last='Norris'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2721843' first='Cj' last='Davis'] is a fun one while [player_tooltip player_id='2878770' first='Shamari' last='Scales'] could be a mismatch in the paint. Really excited for this game.

CHCA Vs Cardinal Ritter (IN) 1:15 P.M.

CHCA had a two headed monster of Luke Sanders and [player_tooltip player_id='2469918' first='Griffin' last='Ridner Richard'] last season, while Sanders is at the college level, Ridner Richard is hoping to lead his team to another successful season. Cardinal Ritter comes from Indianapolis and has a winning tradition as well, this should be a competitive game.

St Xavier Vs Brebeuf Jesuit (IN) 3:00 P.M.

Another strong Indiana program, Brebeuf Jesuit is led by Chace and [player_tooltip player_id='1561106' first='Austin' last='Ford'], who are both ranked in the top 100 of Prep Hoops Indiana rankings for their class. They'll take on a St Xavier team that will be playing their first game since the graduation of Jacob Wassler and Donovan Waloskowki. The Bombers still have plenty of talent and size with [player_tooltip player_id='2674982' first='Liam' last='McGeady'] as a player to watch, but they could be without some football stars as they await a playoff showdown with Elder on Friday November 21st for the regional title. A win would mean the Bombers play in the state semis on Friday the 28th.

Summit Country Day Vs Cincinnati Wyoming 4:45 P.M.

Probably the most hyped game of the entire event, these two teams are both loaded with college talent, seniors and have winning traditions. I'll get to see Summit Country Day on Saturday at the Step Higher Tip Off Classic but it always means more when it's the regular season and games count. Lj Stocks is going to be a key piece for Summit Country Day this season and everybody knows about their wing duo of [player_tooltip player_id='2222935' first='Tim' last='Martin'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2195056' first='Max' last='Joiner']. On the Cowboy side, their quartet of seniors are all going to play at the college level with [player_tooltip player_id='1888254' first='Kellen' last='Wiley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2366692' first='Carlyle' last='Billingsley'] both committed to remain teammates at Ashland University. Grab your popcorn for this one.

Kettering Fairmont @ Mason 6:30 P.M.

The hosts finally get their season underway as the Comets will be led by senior [player_tooltip player_id='2576066' first='Brycen' last='Johnson']. I'm excited to see who else stands out for Mason as they always have a nice depth of talent on their roster. Kettering Fairmont might be led by Prep Hoops Circuit star [player_tooltip player_id='2442538' first='Jayden' last='McGraw']. The Firebirds only have one sophomore and no freshman on their listed varsity roster so this team is experienced.

Moeller Vs Alter 8:15 P.M.

A Cincinnati Vs Dayton private school battle, this game should be intense. With three senior forwards ranked on our site, the battle between [player_tooltip player_id='2856504' first='Danny' last='Kelly'] Vs [player_tooltip player_id='2677124' first='Grant' last='Guess'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2386495' first='Naceive' last='Fenton Jr'] should be a fun one. Add in young guards like [player_tooltip player_id='2885759' first='Bubba' last='Donald'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2878774' first='William' last='Peagler Jr'] and this game has stars on both sides.
