Michael Roth | Prep Hoops Scout
After seeing Guess have some nice flashes last season as a junior for Kettering Alter, he’s taken his game to the next level in the month of June. A skilled wing forward who has improved his perimeter skill and is starting to really flash the ability to handle the basketball and punish the defense on the outside, Guess combination of size, athleticism and perimeter skill is helping him become a really tough cover. Staying productive on the interior will be crucial as well, Guess has the frame and size to score in the paint and rebound on both ends of the court. I expect Guess to be a priority small college target when schools really lock in on seeing him during the summer and throughout his senior season.

I was impressed with the perimeter skill development Guess showed me on Sunday, looking confident with the ball in his hands and beating players off the dribble, Guess has turned into more of a pure wing than a power forward. His size, length and athleticism makes him a potential impact defender at the college level and after Kettering Alter graduated a monster senior class last year, there’s plenty of offensive opportunity up for grabs within the Knights offense this season.
