As for New Albany, they feature sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2382148' first='Noah' last='Washington'] who is a four-star, Top 75 prospect nationally in the Class of 2028. Freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='2888227' first='Karson' last='Stoudemire'] is one of the top Class of 2029 prospects in the state as well. </p>

Forced turnovers led to easy fast break buckets as their athleticism gave Plainfield some problems. However, the Quakers seem to have settled in as the first quarter continued. For Cathedral, Detroit Mercy signee [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']. used his ball skill and strength to relentlessly attack the basket. He had 10 points in the opening period as Cathedral trailed South Bend St. Joseph 27-19.</p>

<p>The Fighting Irish jumped out to a 10-0 run, which extended to 17-3, to start the second half. That put them on top 46-43 less than midway through the quarter.
