Smith was outstanding in Plainfield’s 71-39 victory over Guerin Catholic to begin the day. The DePaul signee finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots. However, he was even better in the evening. He poured in 32 points on nearly perfectly shooting from the floor in an 85-49 win over Castle. Smith surpassed the 1,000 career point milestone in that second game as well.
