A steady, trustworthy presence in the defending Class 3A State Champions backcourt, Roseman showcased both his scoring and playmaking abilities on Saturday evening. He started the game with several mid-range jump shots and a flurry of assists after missing the previous night’s game due to injury. It is good to see him back on the floor and he certainly wasted no time producing. Roseman finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 78-71 loss to Cathedral.

As pure of a point guard as they come, Roseman was able to affect each scrimmage without having to score the ball. He’s an elite table setter that pushes in transition and uses his eyes well to look off the defense so he can hit a teammate in stride for a bucket. Not the quickest player, but uses his body well to get to his spots. Did not show an outside shot. Looked comfortable posting up and rising up in the midrange.

True point guard that plays at his own pace. Has a physical frame that can handle contact. One of the best floor generals in the state with a high assist to turnover ratio. Will be a popular player amongst teammates and college coaches this weekend with the way he distributes the ball.

It was good to see Roseman back on the floor after missing a handful of weeks with a toe injury. The 6’1″ point guard from South Bend St. Joseph High School is best known for his playmaking abilities as he posted an impressive assist-to-turnover ration on the way to a Class 3A State Championship. However, on Saturday, he displayed more of his scoring chops with consistent mid-range jump shots and creative finishes on strong drives to the basket. Roseman scored a team-leading 16 points in a rough loss for Bates Fundamentals 17u against Hawks Elite 17u at Augusta Live.

After taking the spring off of AAU to focus on training, this was our first chance to see Roseman play since he cut down the nets in Class 3A with South Bend St. Joseph. The talented rising senior point guard played well against the defending Class 4A runner-up Fishers Tigers in the game we watched on Wednesday at Notre Dame. Roseman seemingly never turns the ball over, has an outstanding mid-range game, and is a true floor general that will run your offense and impact winning. It was good to see him out on the floor once again.
