South Bend St. Joseph made the jump to Class 4A this season due to the success factor and the Huskies will be looking the make an impact at that level. SBSJ has a lot of heavyweight players on their team once again this season and one of the key players in the backcourt for them is senior guard Braylen White Braylen White 6'3" | SF/SG South Bend St. Joseph | 2026 State IN . An under-the-radar prospect, White is listed at 6’3 and is very athletic and is confident as a driver attacking closeouts, playing in transition, or breaking down his man in isolation. He helps make plays happen for the Huskies.

We wrote about this prospect quite a bit through the summer and fall because he continued to grab our attention across multiple settings and events. That makes sense because White is going to go down as a four-year contributor at South Bend St. Joseph High School. The 6’3″ super athletic wing has done a ton of winning at the high school level. He is excellent in transition and projects as an athletic right-hand driver and tough perimeter defender. White saw a massive jump in our rankings from #174 to #96. He will be a good small college addition.

White continues to emerge as a real sleeper in the Class of 2026. He has flown a bit under-the-radar at South Bend St. Joseph despite being a four-year contributor and playing on teams that finished as Class 3A Runner-Up in 2023 and Class 3A State Champions in 2024. The athletic 6’2″ guard uses his quickness and length off of the bounce to consistently attack the rim. He has had a ton of success in transition at the Metro Indy Fall League. Small college programs need to be recruiting White.

There is a ton of talent at South Bend St. Joseph right now. They won the Class 3A State Championship last season after finishing as the Runner-Up the year prior. Now, having moved up to 4A, they will once again be a contender. White is an under-the-radar piece to their success. The athletic 6’2″ wing averaged 5.3 points per game on last season’s team and will finish his career as a four-year rotation player on excellent SBSJ teams.

White turned a lot of heads over the course of the event. The wing was 1 of the better 2 way players that I saw over the weekend. He was a north-south player that attacked the quickest path to the rim and made good decisions as to whether to finish or dish. White was active on the glass and locked down on D on the wing.

The production speaks for itself. White, a 6’2″ guard from the defending Class 3A State Champion South Bend St. Jospeh, started the weekend off scoring 23 points in a win for Indiana Eclipse . He then scored 16 points and 21 points respectively in their next two games. White is very athletic and is confident as a driver attacking closeouts, playing in transition, or breaking down his man in isolation. Intriguing two-way wing to keep an eye on this spring and summer.

White did a little bit of everything for 5Star – 3SGB 16u in their 66-44 win over OPS – Latham 16u. The long, athletic 6’2″ wing finished with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. His versatile, as evidenced by the final stats, was on display at both ends of the floor. Offensively, he can drive it right against closeouts, attack from the throw ahead in transition, and slash his way to the basket as an off-ball cutter. Then, defensively, his length and constant motor make him very disruptive on the ball and in the passing lanes.
