Continue ReadingThe 2026 class is a good one but it has started to be hit by attrition as former #2 Gabe Weis has already left for Montverde and it’s expected that another top player will be gone out of state this summer. There are still plenty of talented prospects in the class and it’s exceptionally deep in the middle with a lot of players who will play D2/NAIA in college. Here’s a look at the best Shooting Guards in this rankings update.

Continue Reading- As mentioned in the “New Names” article last week, Keriawn Berry Keriawn Berry 6'4" | SG Trinity | 2026 State KY is back in the rankings after being out of basketball for a short time after transferring to Ballard then back to Trinity. Berry has physical tools that college coaches love and has shown the ability to playmake and get others open looks when he’s getting downhill. Keep an eye on Berry to be a potential big riser in the next update depending on how his AAU season goes.
- Manual’s Xavier Cosby Xavier Cosby 6'3" | SG DuPont Manual | 2026 State KY should be in line for a big boost in playing time and opportunity, starting this summer. Xavier never got enough of an opportunity to get into a good rhythm this past season but that should change as a Junior. A bigger shooting guard with a good looking jumper, Cosby’s frame has stretched out in the last year. Watch for him to be a big part of Manual’s offense moving forward.
- Henry Clay’s Jackson Stephan Jackson Stephan 6'4" | SG Henry Clay | 2026 State KY is another player that was in the New Names article and is a name to monitor for the this summer and into his Junior season. A bigger guard with the ability to score in bunches, Jackson should be a top player in the 11th region next season. If he can avoid the ups and downs of a 30 game season and be more consistent from night to night, Stephan should average around 20 points per game next season.
- Jackson Keene Jackson Keene 6'2" | SG Pikeville | 2026 State KY already transferred from East Ridge to Pikeville this offseason and that could be the best thing for his development. With more talent around him, Keene shouldn’t have to force his offense and be allowed to take better shots and not have to settle. Jackson is a player who could climb the rankings over the next year or so as he should be able to show more of his overall game and not just have to force offense like he did at East Ridge.
- North Laurel needed to reload their roster heading into this past season and they did just that, relying on youth at key positions. One of those young leaders was Jordan Rawlings Jordan Rawlings 6'3" | SG North Laurel | 2026 State KY . Averaging double figures and shooting just shy of 40% from three this season, Jordan had a really solid season to set the foundation for these next two seasons of growth and development. When he’s able to set his feet, Rawlings is one of the best in the class at catch and shoot.
