Recently earning his first offer, Taylor is playing well at the right time. Having rattled off an average of over 20 points per game in the last month, Cage is also becoming a more active rebounder. Capable of playing on or off the ball on offense, Taylor is capable of guarding bigger players thanks to his strong frame. Cage could make an impact at the Junior College level next season.

Taylor moves up twenty spots from 101st to 81st in this update and is another Lexington player whose stock is trending up as the season nears. Cage can really shoot it and fill it up in a hurry. To reach the next level, Taylor needs to embrace the less glamorous parts of basketball by being a better and more active rebounder as well as a more engaged defender. He’s got potential to be an all region player if he can develop into a two way player and make an impact on both ends.

He runs with Lexington Eagles. Taylor got the team doing every game with his hot outside shooting. Cage allowed the game to come to him and he capitalized on opportunities. He was the Eagles leading rebounder and played solid defense all weekend. Taylor proved himself as a walking bucket any time that his team needed a score.

Taylor is a 2-way player who stands out on O & D. Cage plays tough on-ball defense with frustrating ball pressure. He is a thief who is no stranger to creating turnovers. Cage will also get you buckets as a shooter and slasher. He will hit contested jump shots and finish in the paint.
