This senior guard is a shooter. If Jordan is open behind the arc, he will make you pay. Rawlings and Davidson pair really well together. They create sort of a dribble-drive offense between them. They are able to open up one another.

is averaging 2.5 three-pointers per game, shooting 35.5% from deep with 54 makes on 152 attempts this season. His size, speed, and shooting ability blend well, making him a difficult matchup on the perimeter. Rawlings does an excellent job setting his feet and is effective as a catch-and-shoot threat. A quick-release shooter with sound form, he doesn’t hesitate and can heat up quickly, traits that have made him one of the top shooters in his class throughout his career.

After a quiet start to the game Rawlings came out blazing in the middle stages and helped North Laurel extend a 10-12 point lead past 20 points with a flurry of 3-pointers. As a team North Laurel shot over 50% from 3-point range and Rawlings tied the team lead with four made threes on the night. While it’s been somewhat of a grind for North Laurel in the early stages of the season, they were firing on all cylinders on Friday night and looking like a clear contender once again in the state of Kentucky.

Jordan missed out on AAU and summer basketball after surgery but he’s one of the top shooters in the Senior class and should get some college looks once he’s back on the court. A hard worker with strong academics, look for Rawlings to get some open looks off the defenses collapsing on

. As he becomes a more consistent defender, Jordan should attract plenty of college looks.

A three point specialist, Rawlings has good positional size and has worked his way into being a better defender over the past few seasons. A 41% shooter from deep, Jordan’s next step will be mixing in shot fakes and getting to the rim more often. He projects as a potential scholarship level player.

North Laurel is not going to be very deep this season but they did get a lot of experience last season in their first year after Reed Sheppard graduated. Now with a group of mostly Sophomores and Juniors for Coach Valentine’s squad, the Jags are on the short list of best teams in the 13th. To get to Rupp Arena, they’ll need a big season from Rawlings. He shot 38% from three last season but took 229 threes as opposed to just 60 twos. If he can add more balance to his scoring, his PPG numbers should go up more as he will get to the free throw line on more occasions.

Purely a shooter, Rawlings is averaging 5 threes attempted to every two pointer. The impressive thing is he’s capitalizing on that by making 39% from downtown. Jordan has gotten a much bigger role this season for a North Laurel team that is in rebuilding mode and Rawlings has been taking advantage with a big season.

Another player known for his shooting and anxious for a bigger role, Rawlings is capable of getting hot quickly and won’t hesitate to fire from deep if given the space. Jordan needs to continue improving his on the ball defense to show he’s more than just another shooter but he has the athleticism to stay in front of opposing guards when he wants to sit down and guard.

Rawlings, like Meagher, slips in the rankings really only due to his lack of varsity PT. North Laurel has a veteran roster and Jordan is having to wait his turn but he has recently started getting some playing time and earning a role as a reserve on varsity. Look for him to move back up in the rankings over the next year or so.
