Armstrong had a nice game doing the things that help role players flip the outcome of games. Armstrong took a charge, made the extra pass and hit shots off the catch vs the Taylor County zone. Armstrong actually ended up leading Grayson County in scoring on Wednesday and most importantly took smart shots.

Armstrong is 45-for-104 from three-point range, shooting 43.3% while averaging 2.4 makes per game. A well-rounded scorer, his effectiveness shows up beyond the arc, where he keeps a high release and uses a quick trigger to knock down shots. He also mixes in a strong pump fake and solid footwork to create separation from defenders.

Armstrong is almost a 50-40-90 shooter as he finished the regular season shooting 52-43-79. He’s also a very reliable second scorer next to Sophomore Jack Logsdon Jack Logsdon Jack Logsdon 6'6" | SF Grayson County | 2027 State KY and is showing he could potentially be a scholarship level recruit this summer.
