About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High Basketball IQ, unselfish willing to do whatever I can do to help my team win. I believe I have a strong sense of court awareness and tactical knowledge.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hello I am a 4.0 student in the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School. I currently am taking 5 AP classes along with being a student athlete. I would discribe myself as highly disciplined and coachable. I am self motivated. I feel I have a high basketball IQ willing to do whatever I can to help my team win instead of focusing on my individual stats.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my church youth group (Crossroads Lexington) , Psychology Club, Beta Club (2020-2021), All A’s in High School Award (annual award 2022-2025) , school wide Writing Award (2017), Citizenship Award (2018). I enjoy playing golf with Youth On Course.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Since a young age I have felt I am a leader by demonstrating strong leadership skills through independence, integrity, decision-making, and I have never felt the need to follow the crowd. I have a close family and I am one of 4 siblings. On the court I am the leader of my High School Team and feel I motivate my teammates through positive encouragement.

What type of college are you looking for?

High level academic college. I desire to play Division 1 Basketball.

He had a great week with 4 straight wins: beating top team Bryan Station with 22 points and 8 rebounds, Scott County 28 points and 12 rebounds, Dunbar 25 points and 19 rebounds, and Lafayette 22 points and 8 rebounds.
