Tyce is one of the most high upside players in Kentucky. He is capable of getting to the rim early and often. When Jarvis’ motor is running, he’s a top 3 player in Kentucky. If he continues adding bulk to his wiry frame, look for Tyce to add several more offers to his list of D1 suitors over the course of this spring and summer.

Tyce actually got a D1 offer today from Grambling State. Jarvis checks nearly every box for a big wing. If he proves he can shoot the ball consistently from range, it will be harder to find deficiencies in his game. A super athletic driver who is switchable on the defensive end, I expect Tyce to see an uptick in his recruiting this spring and summer.

Despite the loss, Jarvis was extremely impressive in the first half and the season why Montgomery County was able to hang around for as long as they did on Tuesday night. Jarvis caught the ball on the wing did a quick rip and go move and had a nasty dunk in traffic to get the strong Montgomery County support up off their feet. Jarvis followed that up with back-to-back 3-pointers to give his team some momentum late in the first half. Maybe the highlight of the game came when Jarvis dropped a defender on a crossover before hitting a mid-range pull-up jumper. Lots of momentum for Jarvis heading into his 17 U grassroots season.

scored 23 points in the MoCo win, shooting nearly 70 percent from the field at 9-of-13, while going 3-of-6 from deep and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. He also added five rebounds and three assists. Jarvis displayed impressive athleticism and was difficult for defenders to contain because of his ability to drive and finish at a high level while also knocking down perimeter shots. He thrived in transition, handling the ball well and finishing through contact at the rim, and even had a highlight alley-oop slam off a pass from

Tyce is one of the most explosive athletes in the state, regardless of class. He also has the potential and the physical traits of being a lockdown defender. Long term, Jarvis needs to improve his long range shooting. He’s only knocking down 25% of his threes so far this season. In the short term, Tyce has a quick first step and is an explosive leaper who can get to the rim and finish, even through contact. There’s a reason he holds several D1 offers already.

Tyce has the highest ceiling of anyone on this list because he’s such an explosive athlete. While he doesn’t shoot the three great, Jarvis is a solid shooter who is getting better and better as a ball handler and playmaker. He has all the tools to be a top player in the state this season.

Tyce is among the most athletic prospects in this class and has the potential to be a big time player if he can straighten out his three point shooting. At his best when attacking off the bounce, Jarvis holds multiple D1 offers and you can see why when you watch him attack in the open floor.

Skilled, athletic wing that was living with his head by the rim. Seemed like every time I went to check his game he was showing his athleticism for a dunk. Not just an athlete though. Showed his full game where he can play on or off the ball and be affective. Smooth player that is wired to score and doesn’t in a lot of different ways.

One of the most naturally talented players in Kentucky, Jarvis can make plays few other players in the state can make. Off a SLOB Jarvis made a cut and dunked with two defenders closing in to contest the shot. Defensively Jarvis also had an incredible block that few guards would be able to reach at the rim. When Jarvis is locked in on the defensive end of the court, good things happen for his team. One of the highlight plays of the day came when Brown threw an alley oop to Jarvis who threw it down with authority. With so many mid major targets on this Midwest Basketball Club 16 U squad, I think each player on the team will help others get offers as they played excellent team basketball on the offensive end.

If you want a player with ridiculous upside, it’s Tyce for sure. Jarvis is athletic and quick and has continued to develop over the last two years. He needs to add bulk to his frame but Tyce has a lot of tools and it’s easy to see why he’s continued to earn D1 offers. His long term potential is very high!
