Chase doesn’t get all the notoriety that his brother does but he’s a talented player in his own right. Sears is a high IQ player who can really shoot it. Still developing as a playmaker, Chase has the potential to be a lead guard on a very good Montgomery County team that has aspirations of getting back to Rupp Arena.

Like his older brother, Chase is more than capable of knocking down shots from distance. Although only a freshman, he stepped into his role at Montgomery County with confidence and enough poise to make plays when given the opportunity. Chase has seemingly already begun to stretch out and could be a growth spurt away from being a legit problem in the near future.

While his Sophomore brother’s transfer case has drawn the fair share of social media attention. the younger Sears has quietly been having a solid start to his high school career as a role player for the Indians. Showing himself to be more than just a shooter, Chase is settling into a role as a rotational piece off the bench for MoCo and will hope to get Montgomery back to Rupp Arena in March.
