Chase doesn't get the headlines that his brother Austin gets but he's just as capable of heating up and taking over a game with his elite shooting and high level playmaking. Sears has to continue developing the other aspects of his game as he ages but he has a lot of tools. With his ability to score the ball as well as create for others, Chase has the potential to be a big time prospect over the next couple of years.

D'Mario is a talented young guard who is waiting for an opportunity at St. X. I think Shorter can make an impact for the Tigers this season. It will be interesting to see how Shorter is integrated into the backcourt with Josh Lindsay and new transfer Dario Harper expected to command a lot of the available minutes. With his playmaking ability, I think it's possible that D'Mario is a better point guard option than an off the ball scorer, long term.

Thomas was our single biggest stock riser in this update and is in line for a breakout season at Bowling Green this winter. A shifty playmaker who can score or create for others, Tre has the ability to make an impact on a game in multiple ways. A tough defender who can really guard on the ball and wreak havoc in the backcourt. Tre is going to end up a point guard more than a combo when all is said and done but he is comfortable playing on or off the ball.

I'm a big fan of Eli's game and his long term potential. Williams has a quiet confidence about him and is on the short list of players I think could break out this season in Louisville. Manual lost their starting point guard when Dario Harper transferred to Saint X and it wouldn't shock me to see Eli moved on to the ball this season. Regardless of where he plays on the court, Williams is an impactful player who is a willing defender and capable of holding up in switching situations on the defensive end. Eli is a player to monitor this season in the 7th region.

Vieth is another player who made a move this offseason as he transferred from Paris to Lexington Catholic. Judd joins a crowded backcourt with the Knights and is likely to spend time developing on the JV this season in addition to a varsity role. With his ability to get paint touches when he has the ball in his hands, Vieth is going to need to carve himself out a role this winter with his new team. Long term, Judson can be an impact player for Catholic and has potential as both a scorer and a creator on the offensive end.
