This particular update has seen a lot of movement all the way through the rankings. With so many players coming back to Kentucky or moving into the rankings for the first time, there have also been quite a few players who have moved up through the rankings. Here's a breakdown of the top Shooting Guards in this update. This does not include players who were previously written about in the top 10 prospects articles.

A big time shooter who recently earned his first D1 offer, Myrick has a lot of long term potential. Braeden will have to add some muscle to his wiry frame but if he can do that, the sky is the limit thanks to his skill set. Myrick needs to continue growing his game on the ball. Everything he can do in addition to his elite shooting will help him to reach the mid or higher D1 level.

Tyce drops in the rankings due to missing so much time to injury. Jarvis has missed the last month of AAU and all of "June ball" for Montgomery County. A big time athlete, Tyce added a new offer from NKU last month and should still be a D1 player when he signs his scholarship papers.

A potential stock riser for the month of July, Gilvin had a strong June with Ballard after leaving Trinity. Garrison is a crafty scorer who can get buckets efficiently. He's recently started playing more off the ball than on it and has gotten more comfortable alongside Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2529549' first='Baron' last='Clay'] at Ballard. Able to switch and guard multiple positions, Gilvin has a lot of potential to sign at the scholarship level.

Michael Ray is likely the best pure shooter on this list (and perhaps in the entire state). With his ability to shoot with deep range paired with a super quick release, Stinnett is an elite "specialist" who will find a role wherever he lands for college. If Michael Ray shows he can be switchable on the defensive end, look for him to draw even more college offers.

Graham is one of the more overlooked players in this Senior class and has the respect of 11th region foes. Swartz does everything well and is very impactful in multiple aspects on the court. Perhaps the most valuable player for Great Crossing, Graham is a true X factor in the race for the 2027 state title.
