Another highly regarded prospect from the state of Kentucky, Swartz comes in ranked #29 in the Class of 2027 by Prep Hoops Kentucky. The 6’3″ athletic guard was excellent in the open floor at Marian showcasing his ability to explode to the rim and score while also maintaining sound playmaking ability for his teammates. He is an impressive two-way perimeter threat for Great Crossing High School that should blossom into an expanded role this winter as a junior.

fan club for a couple of years now and hopefully he’ll make me look smart this season. After waiting his time for the Warhawks, Graham should be a starter and big part of the offense this year. With some positional versatility on offense and a willingness to guard multiple positions on defense, Swartz is going to have the opportunity to show why he is one of the more “slept on” players in central Kentucky right now.

A wing guard who can really shoot the ball from the outside, Swartz has a smooth looking jumper who you need to get a hand up when he catches the ball with his feet set. Able to attack closeouts with either hand, Swartz had a sweet righty scoop layup where he attacked using his left hand on the dribble drive. I thought Swartz showed good feel as an off-ball scorer and should be able to make a big impact on varsity as a junior after he appeared in over half of Great Crossing’s games as a Sophomore.

because they have been waiting for their chance to shine. But shine is just what they will need to do, starting with summer ball. Graham is likely a starter and focal point of the roster the next two seasons and is already off to a good start with AAU this season.

Swartz is not a familiar name because he’s doing most of his work at the JV level but Graham will be an impact player for Great Crossing by this time next season. He’s got good size and is very skilled but Graham also plays really hard and values winning. Look for him to work his way on to the radar of colleges this summer.

Swartz is waiting his turn at Great Crossing but it will be hard to keep him off the court this season. The Warhawks should be able to find 5-10 minutes per game for the Sophomore who keeps improving.

Swartz didn’t even play varsity for a loaded Great Crossing squad this season but Coach Page expects that Graham will be a contributor this season and likely a starter once the 2025 class graduates for the Warhawks. Swartz is playing at a high level in AAU and showing that he belongs in the conversation for a move up the rankings next week.

Swartz is a player who is making the most of his opportunities on the freshman and JV levels while waiting his turn to make an impact on the varsity level for a Great Crossing team that is currently number one in the state. Coach Page told me he expects Graham to be a starter when the Moreno/Dawson group graduates. Until then, he’ll have to keep working to get stronger and raising his game.
