22p vs WV Hustle

-It’s coming together nicely for Feamster as he heads into his senior season much more confident in his perimeter ability in a nice role for a balanced MLE team. Feamster hit his opponent with a wide double crossover into a smooth elbow pull-up jumper, knocked down four 3s off movement, pushed the pace well in transition, hit a baseline pull-up jumper, and understood
“good to great” by turning down contested threes to create easy buckets for himself and others when attacking closeouts. I liked the way that he used his scoring gravity in the 2H to draw two on paint touches and make a play for a teammate. His body composition improvements are noticeable as his burst with the ball in his hands has improved and he’s getting off the ground much more quickly/fluidly for rebounds or finishes above the rim.

Leading his Danny Rumph squad to a tight opening round win, Feamster took advantage of being well-rested since the end of the PAISAA season and poured in 19 points to advance over NEPA Elite . The junior scoring guard was effective from beyond the arc, showcasing his polished stroke en route to knocking down four treys. He chipped in on the glass as well for an undersized group to help secure the win. Feamster continues to track as one of the more consistent scorers in the state, no matter the setting.

While Friends’ Central has taken a few lumps so far this season overall, Feamster has continuously impressed as the Phoenix’s offensive focal point. Averaging around 17 points per game and having scored his 1,000th career point earlier this month, he’s continued to establish himself as one of the region’s premier perimeter shooters while showing steady growth in his floor game and overall scoring package at the same time. Feamster has struck a good balance of letting the game come to him while still staying persistently aggressive, generating his offense within the flow of the game and making strides as a facilitator for others. He’s being tracked closely by a variety of mid-major programs across the East Coast with some sniffs from the high-major level as well.

Across the last three monthsFeamster has increased his recruiting stock significantly. He played outstanding ball on the April grassroots circuit and then averaged 18 points per game at UAA Session 1 (KC) in May. Feamster is an elite point guard with a tremendous scoring skill set. Recently, ECU became the latest school to recognize Feamster’s talents with a scholarship offer.

After lighting up the competition on the April grassroots circuit, Feamster averaged 18 points per game at UAA Session 1 (KC) in May. He is an unstoppable open court scorer who can also direct a team in the half-court. Feamster plays with pace but rarely makes a mistake or takes an ill-advised shot. Over the weekend Old Dominion sent Feamster an offer.

Feamster had a good overall showing in the All City Classic, finishing the event knocking down the 5 threes in the game and really putting his full game on display. The 6-3 shooter shows IQ, intelligence, playmaking, and scoring abilities all over the court. Feamster was able to flourish from multiple levels on the court, making plays off the dribble, knocking down jumpers comfortably, and pushing in transition well. I like how smoothly he operates and his ability to create his own opportunities.

Playing up with Philly Pride for the second consecutive year, Feamster has had no problems acquitting himself to the 17U level while standing out as one of the top underclassmen on the UAA circuit. An established marksman from deep, he’s impressed with his ability to consistently shake free along the perimeter while showing growth in leveraging his shooting gravity to create easy looks for himself and teammates. Feamster was rewarded for his play with an invite to the prestigious UA Future 60 camp at IMG Academy, while high-majors have begun closely monitoring his progress heading into the summer.

Known as arguably the area’s top shooter in his class, Feamster got things started with a step-off triple from the wing on the game’s opening possession. He’d go on to convert on at least six jumpers from beyond the arc while showcasing his textbook mechanics and consistent feel for flowing to open space off the ball. He doesn’t have the type of flashy dribble-drive game or explosive athleticism that typically stands out in all-star environments but Feamster showed that his skillset is translatable no matter the setting in a way that college coaches are sure to love.

After posting impressive runs on the April grassroots circuit, Feamster has destroyed the competition on the circuit here in early May. At UAA Session 1 (KC), Feamster averaged 18 points per night while torching opponents with his open court scoring. The same can be said for Feamster’s play this past weekend at the War on the Shore tournament (NJ). He was named as a standout performer at that HGSL event. This spring, Feamster has again proven that he can produce points at every level. His ability to balance attacking the rim off the dribble with his accurate three-point shooting has kept defenders off-balance all spring. Feamster plays with extreme pace, but he is never out of control and rarely commits a turnover. At the other end of the court, Feamster has displayed quick lateral movements and a willingness to defend for 94-feet.

Feamster holds the reputation as a guard with three level scoring skills and that certainly has proven to be true here in early April. This month Feamster has excelled at the Jersey Tune Up as well as UAA Session 1 in Kansas City. Feamster has scored at will off the dribble in transition as well as on half-court possessions. Additionally, two other items have really popped about Feamster’s recent play on the grassroots circuit. The first was his ability to operate as a floor general style point guard who can distribute to teammates for easy buckets. His live dribble passing on the fast break has been especially impressive. The second item is the highly accurate 3-point shooting Feamster has displayed of late. Feamster has drained threes of the dribble as well as spot ups. His transition three-point shooting has been fantastic too. College coaches will love Feamster’s ability to bring the ball up court, then stop and pop a three.
