Mirarachi left his mark on the game while he was playing off of the basketbal hitting a pair of three pointers as a catch and shoot threat. He was in lanes on defense to get steals. Mirarachi found others with his vision of the floor. He is learning how to insert himself in the game in different ways that don’t involve being a primary scorer due to the fact his team has a lot of scoring depth at the guard spots.

While teams have plenty of film on him by now, nobody has shown that they are able to stop him during the playoffs. In Cathedral Prep’s District 10 quarterfinal, he led all scorers with 31 points in an 85–61 win over Oil City. In the semifinal win over Hickory, he again paced Prep with 26 points as the Ramblers advanced to the title game. He controls the offense and gets all of his teammates involved. Mirarchi’s postseason has been exceptional because his NBA-range shooting forces playoff defenses to overextend, and he’s punishing that with a mix of downhill physicality, pull-up midrange creation, rim touch, and high-IQ distribution. He holds a division I offer from Fairfield.

At the Orlando KSA Holiday Tournament, Nando delivered a dominant three-game stretch to lead Cathedral Prep to the championship. He poured in 32, 28, and 30 points to capture the division title, showcasing consistent scoring at the highest level. The event was made even more special as he scored his 1,000th career varsity point at the same venue. Along with his scoring explosion, he filled the stat sheet with a combined 15 assists and 15 steals, earning All-Tournament MVP honors for his complete and impactful performance.

Add in his growing reputation as a tough, lockdown defender who anticipates and turns stops into instant offense, and you’ve got the best kind of senior lead guard.

Mirarchi is an all around guard who stuff the stat sheet with his play. He was one of the main catalysts for Cathedral Prep who made a post season run last season and look to go further this upcoming season. He averaged 15 a game as a junior and expect that would go up this year.

Nando Mirarchi has become one of Western Pennsylvania’s most coveted unsigned seniors, and for good reason. At Cathedral Prep, he earned first-team All-Region recognition and recently showed off a scoring explosion of 30 points and 10 assists against elite East Coast talent during the Philly live period. Mirarchi’s game shows elite shooting range, forcing defenders to step up and opening driving lanes where he excels. His pull-up jumper in the midrange is reliable, and he finishes around the rim with touch. On top of being a lights-out shooter, he’s a true floor general with vision, making timely skip passes, leveraging high IQ reads, and knowing when to take over the game himself. His court awareness enables him to balance scoring and distributing, and his turnovers are minimal. He’s significantly developed his playmaking with increased physicality—absorbing contact, pushing the pace in transition, and mixing in aggressive rim attacks. Defensively, he brings tenacity and strength, frequently outworking opponents while delivering quick hands in passing lanes and maintaining disciplined on-ball pressure. Mirarchi combines his elite basketball skill set with intangibles—leadership, elite character, and high academic performance.

Another steady all-around performance from Mirarchi. He was able to score for himself in different ways. Mirarchi found others for scoring chances regularly and has a great grasp of the game. He got to the foul line. Mirarchi turned defense to offense when he came up with steals.

One word to describe Mirarchi’s game is steady. He has a great pulse of the game and knows when pick and choose when to exploit defenses. He did a good job of setting his teammates up for scoring chances. Mirarchi scored the basketball in a plethora of ways. He was also able to start the break. Mirarchi ability to play with pace and change his gears when on the attack is one of his best skill sets.
